This illustration shows why DrillRite installs casing into the bedrock and then grouts that casing to provide you and your family with a more secure and trouble-free well. The grouted casing is set deeper into the bedrock to decrease likelihood of cross-contamination with surface water. Grouting helps prevent sand, iron, bacteria, etc. from seeping in from around the casing or through surface fractures in the weathered bedrock.
